This vineyard is managed with feminine gentleness … It is with a master hand that she maternally protects her vines against mildew and powdery mildew in a reasoned manner. Respecting the terroir and maintaining the balance of life in the soils which promotes the ecosystem being one of her priorities to be able to perpetuate her vineyard. Cultivated without weedkillers, the soil of its vines is treated with scrupulous respect for the terroir and the overall climate throughout the year.
Harvesting of the Cabernet Franc is after monitoring the maturity of the different parcels. This process is done only by hand, sorting meticulously the grapes before vatting. The Cabernet Franc is vinified as a single grape variety at the Clos.The vinification is done in concrete vats with all of Martine’s care and dedication.
